Gramiya Shastra
Gramiya shastra means mundane news, and there is no injunction in the shastras against keeping abreast of the times. However, we are not encouraged to give the daily news report too much importance, either. My very dear Godbrother, the talented Nara Narayana das Adhikary, Vishwakarma, some time back sent me a link to a video called Loose Change, which scientifically unravels the hundreds of flaws in the official story of the 2001 New York, DC and PA disasters. To watch the latest, second edition of this daring, yet plausible film, go to Google and enter > Google Video <. Then type in the title > Loose Change < and prepare to be dumbfounded. Yes, Virginia, there is a Rahu. Indeed, something is amiss in Washington, DC, as today Americans have the lowest opinion of their elected government—ever. Truly, Kali Yuga is upon us, and a resurgence of the sankirtan movement of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Shrila Prabhupada are needed more than ever. To counteract these Rahu-influenced times when governments exploit—rather than protect—the very citizens who put them up there, every ISKCON temple must send out some shaved-up devotees for a few hours daily to distribute the books of Shrila Prabhupada while a singing and dancing sankirtan party accompanying the distributors chants:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
